Greece - Public sector strike - December 31, 2025

Public sector union federation ADEDY organised a 24-hour nationwide strike on December 17, in reaction to the passing of the budget in Parliament and to show support for rural mobilizations. The strike will include OLME, representing secondary education teachers, and DOE, representing primary education teachers. Other participants include unions representing local government, public hospital, health centers and ambulance service workers. Mayors will also mobilize through the Union of Municipalities and Communities (KEDE).
