The minimum wage for workers is set for an increase of approximately € 40 to € 50 starting from 1 April 2025. The process of determining the exact adjustments is set to commence by the end of January. The \u003Ca contenteditable=\"false\" href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fcrm.etui.org\u002Fcivicrm\u002Fmailing\u002Furl?u=85321&qid=3950785\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\u002F\u002Fcrm.etui.org\u002Fcivicrm\u002Fmailing\u002Furl?u=85321&qid=3950785\">minimum wage\u003C\u002Fa> is expected to reach € 870 or € 880 in 2025. This aligns with the Government’s goals to raise the minimum wage to € 950 by 2027 and the average wage to € 1,500. This requires annual increases in the average salary of approximately 5.3%. However, the lack of collective agreements poses an additional challenge in shaping the new average salary.
