Earlier in January, around 13,000 delivery workers had already gone on strike, which led to significant delays in letter and parcel deliveries. ver.di criticizes the employers' side: \"There was hardly any movement in the negotiations. Employees need noticeable wage increases in order to be able to cope with the high cost of living.\" ver.di is demanding a 7% wage increase for a contract term of twelve months and additional vacation days.
