The agreement provides for higher hourly wages, fairer overtime arrangements, free choice of doctor, and additional days off for special occasions. The determined warning strikes, in particular, made this breakthrough possible. From 1 May 2025, hourly wages will increase by € 0.70, with a further increase of € 1 in April 2026 – a wage increase of between 7.2% and 10.6% depending on the pay group. Other innovations include increased anniversary bonuses and additional days off.
