The action is in response to the company's continued refusal to enter into negotiations of a collective agreement with ver.di union since July of this year. According to company plans, the Trust and Safety department – responsible for content moderation – is to be dissolved. Activities are to be outsourced to external service providers and partially replaced by artificial intelligence.
