The goal of union JHL is to have the new agreement settled before the agreement period ends and to secure that the new agreement becomes effective at the beginning of 2026. Negotiation have been scheduled until the end of the year, and as the turn of the year approaches, the negotiators meet increasingly often. JHL notes that negotiations have shifted from textual issues to more substantive pay and employment-terms discussions.
