EU Sources - ETUI study on transposition of Minimum Wage Directive - December 31, 2025
The ETUI published a comprehensive analysis of the transposition of the Directive on Adequate Minimum Wages in the EU in all 27 EU Member States. The study not only analysis the formal transposition of the Directive into national law, but it also analysis the broader political implications of the Directive as manifested in its influence on the political agenda and the political and public discourse about minimum wages and collective bargaining in the Member States. The study concludes by putting the analysis of the transposition and impact of the Directive into the broader context of the discussion about the CJEU judgment and potential future initiatives to promote adequate minimum wages and strong collective bargaining.
