EU Sources - Call to act to safeguard industry - November 30, 2025

Trade unions from the Eastern Region came together in Poznań, Poland. Following a detailed exchange, focused on industry and workplace specific challenges across the region, union leaders unanimously adopted a “Call to Act” designed to safeguard European industry and quality employment. The Call to Act addresses the major pressures on European industry: high energy costs, global competition and the need for a socially-fair green transition. It is addressed to governments in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, to EU policymakers, and to employers.
