The plans come amid ongoing negotiations with trade unions over the scale and structure of the increases. In negotiations with the Government, public service unions coordinated at national level, including OSSOO and ČMKOS, are demanding a 9% pay increase for the lowest-paid groups, alongside the same increase across the civil service pay scale.
