Czechia - New agreement for rail operator - November 30, 2025

State rail operator Správa Železnic reached a company-level collective agreement for the next year, guaranteeing a wage increase and maintenance of employee benefits during a period of sectoral transformation. The agreement’s settlement — although still modest — signals a strategic success for the unions in securing wage growth in a public-transport operator under economic pressures, and may set a benchmark for private-sector bargaining rounds in coming months.
