Czechia - Compass for social dialogue - November 30, 2025

Union confederation ČMKOS launched a new “Kompas sociálního dialogu” project with the goal of revitalising social dialogue at national level. The initiative emphasises improved collective bargaining coverage and stronger involvement of social partners. With the Government under pressure and union membership rising, this move reflects renewed ambitions to shape wage development and labour-market governance via institutional channels rather than strikes.
