The rally is demanding increased state funding to secure a 15% pay raise for the staff, who currently receive what they describe as insultingly low wages. This includes journalists, editors, camera operators, technicians, singers, orchestra members, etc. The protest took place under the slogan “Work In The Media Has Value”.
