Austria - Agreement for private security sector - November 30, 2025
The 18,000 employees in the private security sector will receive a weighted wage increase of 3.08%. An unscheduled meeting was held regarding the collective agreement for security guards. In the two previous rounds, employers had presented inadequate offers. However, the vida negotiators remained steadfast. As a result, an agreement was reached that provides for wage increases of 3.08% – weighted according to the number of employees in each pay grade. The new collective agreement for the security sector will apply from 1 January 2026.
