This award follows the recommendations of the NHS Pay Review Body (PRB), which also includes changes to the pay structure for higher-level positions. AfC covers about 330,000 NHS workers across different job levels. Staff on these contracts are now invited to vote on whether to accept or reject the pay award. Although this consultation will not affect the immediate implementation of the pay award, it is important for understanding staff opinions and shaping the Royal College of Nursing’s (RCN) future actions.
