Slovenia - Union worried about postal company - April 30, 2024

The Union of Transport and Communication Workers of Slovenia (SDPZ) sent a letter to the government, in which it pointed out the alarming situation of the employees of the Slovenian Postal Company (Pošta Slovenije) in light of the announced strategic changes at the organization. The management is criticized for responding too slowly to the need for efficient organization of work, working with too few employees, uneconomical decisions and, above all, the fact that the management of Pošta Slovenije is planning a change in strategy, which, according to the union, will have a markedly harmful effect on both employees and the quality of service delivery at the expense of citizens.
