The Federation of the Romanian Insurance and Bank Unions and the Romanian Bank Patronage Council signed the collective agreement at the level of the banking sector. It was established that the minimum guaranteed salary will be 4,100 lei (€ 824) gross from May 2024, and will increase to 4,500 lei (€ 904) from May 2025. The social dialogue continues, and from this autumn the contract extends to the national level, for all bank employees, even if they are not a union members.
