Beginning 1 November 2024, this “general application” covers minimum wage standards, overtime pay, a 37.5-hour workweek, and allowances for travel and accommodation, benefiting all electricians, line workers, and related technicians, regardless of union membership. Previously, only parts of the collective agreement applied, leaving temporary and foreign workers without full protections if they weren’t union members.
