Netherlands - Strikes result in agreement for industrial laundries - April 30, 2024
After hundreds of employees of industrial laundries took part in a strike, a collective agreement was reached between the union FNV and the employers’ organizations FTN and Netex. Wages will increase by 4.5% on 1 May 2024, and by 3.6% on 1 January 2025. All deteriorations proposed by the employers are off the table. About 7,000 people work in industrial laundries that wash for hospitals, nursing homes, catering establishments, hotels and recreational parks.
