In 2023, wages were already up by 6.1%. Wage growth in 2024 was therefore the highest since 1982. Statistics Netherlands (CBS) reports this on the basis of new figures. In the last quarter of 2024, negotiated wages were 6.5% higher than in the same quarter of 2023.
