Lithuania - Average gross monthly earnings grew by 11% - March 31, 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2023, average gross monthly earnings (before employee tax) in the whole economy increased by 11% compared to the same period of 2022 and amounted to € 2,110. In the fourth quarter of 2023, average net monthly earnings (after employee tax) were € 1,304 and showed a year-on-year increase of 10%. The real earnings index shows the purchasing power of employees after considering changes in consumer prices. In the fourth quarter of 2023, against the same period of 2022, this indicator increased by almost 8%.
