This deal establishes significant increases for both the minimum wage and the so called ‘guaranteed wage minimum’ over the next three years. The minimum wage will rise by 9% in 2025, followed by increases of 13% in 2026 and 14% in 2027. The ‘guaranteed wage minimum’ will also increase by 7% in 2025. Projections suggest that the cumulative 40% increase in the minimum wage by 2027 will significantly enhance purchasing power while maintaining economic competitiveness. The government says it wants the minimum wage to reach 50% of average regular gross wage by 2027.
