The maximum working week will be extend to six days, for a total of 48 hours, but with a \u003Cstrong>40% salary increase\u003C\u002Fstrong> for the additional day and 115% if it is a public holiday. No overtime exceeding eight hours per day will be permitted. The new law, approved in September and ready to come into force, was introduced to \u003Cstrong>respond to the labour shortage\u003C\u002Fstrong>, especially seasonal labour. According to the legislation, some industrial and manufacturing production facilities, as well as businesses offering 24\u002F24 services, can extend the working week beyond the usual five days.
