With retroactive effect from 1 April 2024, wages and training allowances will increase by 6.25% for a period of 15 months. The union had demanded 7.3% for 12 months. The collective agreement was preceded by warning strikes by IG Metall, for the first time in 20 years. Over 1,000 employees took part.
