In addition, there are surcharges for overtime over 10 hours of work. In addition, weekly working hours over 50 hours are compensated with an additional 25 or 50%. Together with the introduction of an additional paid day off for every 20 days of shooting or a pro rata entitlement to time credits in the time account, these regulations compensate for long working hours, normally through a 4-day week per month. These new regulations will come into force from May 2025. The salaries will be increased twice by 2.5% from May 2025 and January 2026. The entry-level salaries for actors will rise to € 1,050 per day. Together with improvements to e-casting in the acting collective agreement, this will be set in parallel with the salary collective agreement with a term until the end of 2026. The collective agreement runs until the end of August 2027.

Read on: in German…

For more information, please contact Paul de Beer or Oana Ciuca, De Burcht (Scientific Bureau for the Dutch Trade Union Movement) p.t.debeer@uva.nl or the Head of communications at the ETUI, Mehmet Koksal mkoksal@etui.org.
