As of September 1, 2024, wages and salaries will increase by 3.9%. The result will also be passed on to trainees. In addition, there will be an inflation compensation bonus of € 800 for workers. Trainees will receive € 400. From January 1, 2026, weekly working hours will be reduced from 39 to 38.5 hours. This corresponds to a wage increase of a further 1.3%.
