The union ver.di and the Federal Association of German Cash and Valuables Services (BDGW) have agreed on a collective agreement for around 10,000 employees in the sector nationwide. From 2025, wages will rise by 6.5 to 8.4%, depending on the region. For example, from January 2025, employees in North Rhine-Westphalia will receive an hourly wage of € 21.85, in the new federal states € 19.22. Wages will continue to rise until 2026. There are also new rules for vacation and overtime.
