The meeting was called following the Government’s refusal to implement agreed raises for September 2024 and a lack of clarity on salary plans for 2025. The unions voiced strong concerns about the broken agreements and the Government’s evasion of discussions. The Government’s proposal of a 5% and 3% increase was revealed to be misleading, with one group set to receive no raise at all.
