In April 2024, inflation increased by 3.37% in one year. The pivot index was exceeded in April, which means that social benefits and civil servants' salaries are adapted the following month. In May, unemployment compensation, pensions, sick pay, etc. will increase by 2%. Public sector salaries will also increase by 2% in June. Private sector workers will see their wages increase due to rising prices.
