Engineers of Sweden, Unionen and Akavia submitted the request to Spotify on 12 April, asking the company to conclude the first collective agreement “as soon as possible”. Under the Co-Determination in the Workplace Act, companies are required by law to start negotiations over a collective agreement as soon as possible after receiving a request.
