The mediation institute Medlingsinstitutet expects that, according to the latest wage statistics, nominal wages will increase by 4.1% in September. However, there is heightened uncertainty about what the definitive wage increase will be in the public sector. Preliminary statistics, which do not yet include all retroactive pay, show that wages are increasing by 3.8 percent compared to the previous year. Inflation was 4% in September.
