For blue-collar workers, the average salary was SEK 29,300 and for white-collar workers SEK 45,100 (€ 3,794). The average salary was thus SEK 15,800 (€ 1,329), or 54%, higher for white-collar workers than for blue-collar workers. In the last seven years, the wage gap between blue-collar and white-collar workers has increased significantly. In the latest contract period 2020-2022, the average salary for all employees increased by 8.1%.
