A four-day strike began on 3 August at the publicly-owned company \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fstal.pt\u002Findex.php\u002Farquivomenu\u002F1603-stal-convoca-greve-na-psml-nos-dias-3,-4,-5-e-6-de-agosto.html\">PSML \u003C\u002Fa>which maintains major buildings, parks and gardens in Sintra. The dispute is over a range of issues including deregulation of work schedules, integration into the pay system and allowances for employees who work in remote areas.
