In comparison with the preceding year, it increased nominally by 11.7%. This increase was higher than that recorded in 2021 against 2020, when it was 8.7%. In the public sector, wages and salaries were 10.2% higher than the total average monthly gross wage and salary, while in the private sector it was 2.6% lower. The average monthly gross wage increased in all sectors in comparison to the same period of the preceding year.
