Some of the most important changes coming into force at the start of the year are the increase of the minimum wage and of business-trip related allowances. In 2023, due to high inflation, the minimum wage will be increased twice. From 1 January, the minimum wage is PLN 3,490 (€ 738) (up from PLN 3,010 or € 636 in 2022), and from 1 July it will amount to PLN 3,600 (€ 763).
