Over the past several months, regional public transport workers have staged various walk-outs at local and national levels, as trade unions remain unable to reach an agreement with public transport operators over salaries, work contracts and the workload of employees. Following the most recent strikes, the FNV and CNV said employers had until 20 February to settle on a new collective agreement.
