In recent weeks, the members of the trade union FNV voted in favour of the final offer by a 55% majority. All employees at ING bank will get a wage increase ranging from 14% for the lowest salary scales to at least 4% for the highest. This result was achieved after bank employees campaigned for months and even went on strike for the first time in ING's history at the beginning of April. After the strike, the management of ING came up with an improved final offer. The bank offered a 2-year collective agreement from 1 January 2023 with a salary increase of € 400 from 1 July for all salaries up to € 85,000 and € 320 for those who earn more with a minimum of 4%. As of 1 July 2024, an additional 3% will be added.
