Inflation has been below 2% for six months. In November, it fell to its lowest level of the year at 1.4%. The results of the 17 wage negotiations include the following aspects: working hours in 10 different industries were reduced by half an hour to an hour per week to promote a better work-life balance. Conversely, this means wage increases of 1.2-2.3% for the affected employees.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>There are also wage increases of up to 2.5% as well as various increases in minimum wages and vacation entitlement. Wages will rise in all sectors in 2024 by an average of 2.4%.
