Liechtenstein - Unions propose measures to alleviate labour shortages - September 30, 2023
The Lake Constance (Bodensee) region is in a particularly competitive situation for workers and skilled workers. Almost 60,000 people in the area commute to work in neighbouring countries every day. To mobilize their own resources more strongly in the individual countries, measures are required that make working in the country of origin more attractive and increase employment - especially among women. To this end, the Interregional Trade Union Council Lake Constance (IGR Bodensee) has developed a package of measures that applies to all neighbouring countries and brings significant improvements to the respective location in order to keep workers and skilled workers in their own country and to be able to mobilize dormant human resources.
