Further agreements have also been made in retail. After months of negotiations and strikes, there is movement in the collective bargaining round for wholesale. In Bavaria, the Federal Association of Wholesale, Foreign Trade, Services (BGA) and the Verdi union agreed on a two-stage increase in wages and salaries by a total of 4.7%. For the wholesale and foreign trade employees in Bavaria, wages and salaries will rise by 3% retrospectively from October 1. As of April 1, 2022, there is a further increase of 1.7%. The training allowance will be increased by €30 in the current year and by a further €20 in 2022.
