In several statements the pilots declared that employees are stepping down from various positions in the company to seek better employment conditions elsewhere and that there are severe problems in the field of maintenance due to lack of skilled engineers. Croatia Airlines' employees are pushing for a collective bargaining agreement after the previous one expired seventeen months ago.
