Trade unions call for a referendum before the maximum working hours are increased. Trade unions and opposition parties are against the plans to increase the working hours but the bill is expected to pass. There was also a lot of opposition on a specific point in an earlier version of the bill: the permitted reasons employees could provide to refuse to work more than 10 hours per day.
