The trade union confederations showed their disgust, in the May Day presentation, at the progress of the negotiations and have warned that the time for talks has been exhausted. The employers’ organisation CEOE had presented proposals for a general agreement (AENC) 2017 that included a salary increase between 1.0% and 2.0%, plus a variable 0.5%, to be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
