The work stoppage ended as a sign of goodwill ahead of the pilots’ scheduled meeting with the head of the House transport committee over this conflict. The Limassol port pilots had staged another strike on July 2016 to protest the intention of Dubai Ports to employ non-Cypriot pilots.
