Trade union Vida settled a one-year deal for bus drivers (some 15,000 workers) with a pay increase of 1.4%, starting 1 January 2017. For workers and assistants in kindergartens the minimum wage will increase from 1 January 2017 up to 1,469 euro, based on an agreement that trade union Vida signed. Vida also settled a wage deal for domestic workers with an average pay increase of 3.7% and an improvement of the allowances to be paid to au pairs. Trade union GPA-djp concluded a one-year agreement for the staff at the chambers of accountants and tax consultants with a similar pay increase of 1.4%. GPA-djp reached a deal in the metal sector for staff workers (plus 1.43%).
