The report is based on country reports and looks after the actual retirement pathway which workers in arduous and hazardous jobs follow in the scrutinised countries. It identifies the national policy measures, and the number of workers that have access to them. Also described are the main characteristics of the retirement pattern, especially the effective retirement age, as compared with that of ordinary workers.
