The corporate shake up will affect workers at the company’s steel plant in Raahe and its building subsidiary Ruukki Construction. The company has launched restructuring talks that will affect some 2,900 workers in Finland - 2,445 of them work at the Raahe plant. The talks will last at least six weeks and the planned personnel reductions should be finalised during the first half of 2016.
