Currently, 145,000 foreigners measured by full-time employees are employed in Denmark. This is an increase of 45% since 2010 – and projections show that immigrants and descendants of immigrants will be responsible for more than 70% of the increase in the workforce by 2050. The country must ensure that it attracts more foreign workers with the right skills sets, according to the employers’ confederation.

English: http://di.dk/English/News/Pages/Foreignemployeesaccountablefortwothirds ...

For more information, please contact the editor Jan Cremers, Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Labour Studies (AIAS) cbn-aias@uva.nl or the communications officer at the ETUI, Mariya Nikolova mnikolova@etui.org.
