The agreement is the first of its kind and should improve working conditions for civil servants. The collective agreement between the government and the trade unions governs the rights and obligations of both parties. It concerns more than 69,000 state employees, including employees of the financial authorities, Social Security Administration, labour offices and other central government bodies.
