As of 1 January 2015 this will bring the minimum wage to the level of 648.6 euro. The minimum wage was frozen in 2012, increased with 0.6% in 2013 and again frozen in 2014. The trade unions have already stated in a reaction that the increase is far from what is necessary to keep pace with the purchase power that has been lost since the start of the crisis.
