Unemployment rate (share of unemployed persons in the total active population) in the first quarter accounted for 11.9%, and over the year it has dropped by 1.1 percentage points (in the 1st quarter of 2013 - 13.0%). In the first quarter slightly more than two fifths (or 43.6%) of the unemployed in age group 15-74 years were long-term unemployed who are seeking job for 12 and more months.
